Description

We are now looking for an operational buyer for an exciting consulting assignment with an international industrial group. The assignment involves supporting the business in indirect purchasing with a focus on delivering high-quality purchasing support, driving savings initiatives, and contributing to digitalization and process improvement.

You will be part of an engaged sourcing team that works globally and closely with the business's stakeholders. The role involves close collaboration with Category Managers and internal buyers to ensure efficient purchasing processes and business results.

The assignment is full-time and will be performed on-site in Huskvarna.

Responsibilities
  • Perform operational purchasing activities according to applicable sourcing policy and strategy

  • Manage and develop the supplier base for indirect services

  • Conduct RFQ processes and drive savings initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with existing supplier agreements

  • Identify negotiation opportunities based on company, supplier, and market data

  • Collaborate closely with Category Managers and other buyers for the implementation of initiatives

  • Support buyers in specifications and ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines

  • Contribute to improvement work, digitalization, and development of working methods

  • Work in business systems and purchasing tools (e.g., Coupa)

QualificationsMust-have requirements
  • University degree in economics, purchasing, or a relevant field

  • At least 2 years of experience in operational purchasing

  • Experience working in an international environment with multiple contact points

  • Documented experience in negotiation

  • Experience with ERP systems and good knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

  • Experience in indirect services (either from the purchasing or sales side)

Desirable
  • Experience with purchasing systems such as Coupa

  • Experience working in a matrix organization

  • Ability to build long-term relationships

  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented

  • Thrives in a changing and complex organization

  • Strategic overview combined with operational execution capability

Conditions

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by us and rented out to the client. The assignment is full-time from March to July 2026.
